Our Stylist Level System
Fees for services at S-kape will vary depending on the stylist. Prices are determined by the experience levels, areas of expertise, and demands on our time. We offer several levels of pricing, please feel free to ask for a quote before your service begins.
Salon & Spa Etiquette
We ask that children not accompany you unless they are old enough to sit in the waiting area unsupervised. For liability reasons, children are not permitted in the styling area or spa area unless they are receiving a service. Also, please respect our environment and silence your phone.
Appointments
We ask that you arrive 15 minutes prior to your appointment time so that you can change and relax with a beverage before your service begins. If you are late for an appointment it may be necessary to shorten or reschedule your service. Most appointments are confirmed 24-72 hrs in advance, however, sometimes we are unable to reach you. This service is a courtesy, and remembering your appointment is your own responsibility.
Reservations & Cancellations
A credit card is required to secure all appointments. A minimum of 24 hours is required for all cancellations. Cancellation/No Show Fees are 50% of the starting price of the intended services.
Time allotted for an appointment is reserved specifically for you. When you forget or cancel your appointment without giving enough notice, your service provider misses the opportunity to fill that appointment time, and clients on our waiting list miss the opportunity to receive services they need.
We do understand that sometimes schedule adjustments are necessary, therefore we respectfully request a minimum of 24 hours notice for adjustments to your appointments and for cancellations. All of our policies are to designed to benefit our guests. We respect you as a valued guest and we hope to continually be of service to you. Thank you for your loyalty.
Refunds
We do not offer refunds on services, but we always guarantee our work and will gladly address or correct any concern you may have. Please contact us within 72 hours of your service. Hair products may be returned within 14 days of purchase with a receipt for store credit. Skin care products and makeup may not be returned. Boutique items may be returned with a receipt within 14 days. Tags must still be attached and clothing may not be used or have any smells.
Gratuities
We've made giving gratuities simple and convenient. With our "Tippy" system, guests can swipe their card and send gratuities directly to their service provider's bank account. This ensures your thanks go straight to the person that provided your service. If you prefer cash, we also have an ATM on-site for your convenience.
Wine & Beer
We are proud to be the first salon in St. Mary’s to be able to legally serve wine and beer to our guests. This comes with limitations such as: we ID every single guest. Also, due to Maryland regulations we are prohibited from serving complimentary beverages, however you may purchase up to two servings of wine or two servings beer. You must be receiving a service in order to enjoy an alcoholic beverage.
